everyone@universe.existence (2003) is a poem dramatically presented through music, speech and sound. It is as much performance art as it is a musical work.Marvin Bell, poet laureate of the State of Iowa, wrote the poem especially for this piece. Commissioned by the National Flute Association for the 2003 Young Artist competition, the piece is accompanied by pre-recorded sound on CD. everyone@universe.existence is in turn exciting, lyrical, tender, commanding … and funny!
